Hannah Bonnette is a singer, actor, dancer, songwriter, and digital artist from New Orleans, LA. She is currently a senior at Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ working toward her BFA in Musical Theatre.

Hannah loves to take on roles that allow her soprano voice to soar and her ingenuity to shine. She is equally intrigued by roles that give the audience a wink with her side-splitting comedic timing. Last Summer, Hannah had the opportunity to play Alexa McPherson in Pickleville Playhouse’s original comedy Thick as Thieves by Derek Davis. She also got to live out her childhood mermaid dreams as a mersister in The Little Mermaid (Pickleville Playhouse).

Most recently, Hannah was seen on stage as Jane Doe in Ride the Cyclone (Rider Student Theatre Company). Other memorable roles include Zelda 1918 in The Ghosts of Gatsby (Rider University), Angels Swing in Anything Goes (Rider University), Amalia Balash in She Loves Me. Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady (Jefferson Performing Arts), Belle in Beauty and the Beast (Tulane University Junior Lyric), and Lily St. Regis in Annie.

More of her work includes being cast as Whitney in the first Off-Broadway workshop of The America Project (Dina Sarno Lawson, Dell Howlett, David Dabbon).

Hannah has been dancing since the age of 5, most notably with the pre-professional rhythm tap company Theatre on Tap in New Orleans under the direction of Heidi Malnar, performing on stage at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival (2019).

Hannah finds joy in allowing her creativity to soar. She is currently working on her first album/musical which she plans to put up on the Rider stage as a concert in 2025.
